SOFTLY OUTSPOKEN

A CALMING, COMFORTABLE BEDROOM/BOUDOIR EMANATING SUBTLE ROMANCE WITHOUT BEING 'FRILLY'
7
The brief requested an inviting bedroom that felt romantic without being overtly feminine. We happily delved into the client’s favoured blush tones but with a deliberate intention to balance the delicate, softness with bolder, ’tougher’ elements.
Layered textures and delectable blush/cream tones contrast with bold pattern, outlined floral artwork, geometric shapes, black lineal elements, masculine muted greens, and sleek, black barn door hardware.
Continuing the ‘pretty/tough’ contrast of soft tones overlaid with harder black lines, the bathrooms were elegantly transformed with new sanitaryware and contemporary black tapware whilst retaining most of the tiling to reduce costs and waste. The hallway celebrates a soft palette of beige, grey, and warm white punctuated with black elements in the furniture and artwork. The new lighting creates a much brighter spacious gallery-like space.
