A brand new apartment oozing clean lines and minimalism but lacking originality and warmth. Our client needed us to help him soften his new found urban nest and differentiate it from all the other 'cold white boxes'. Taking inspiration from the adjacent heritage flour mill we injected subtle industrial elements, tactile fabrics, aged finishes and visual texture. We balanced the rectilinear language with curves, softened the harsh lines with ambient lighting, and infused personality by decorating with meaningful objects and bold personal photographic images.
